In my opinion Paul Wellstone had the best political ads. This one from his '96 campaign is like the one he did when he first ran. He is speaking quickly because in the first one in 1990 he could only afford a 15 second spot. Why can't they all be this good?
Not to split hairs or anything, but it seems like you've been predicting the Dow will tank every couple of months for the past year if not more. Didn't the Dow just hit a record high? Personally, I don't think the bull market will continue either. You have a good strategy though. History tells us that the DOOM will eventually happen, so if you keep predicting it, eventually you will be right. The financial press is rife with both bears and bulls...if you choose to listen only to the bears, you'd think everyone in the U.S. will be fighting over the last loaf of bread in 3 months...if you listen only to the bears, we'll all be retired in fancy (and still appreciating!) homes in Santa Monica, Malibue, and Marin County in a couple years.
You have sufficiently proven your ability to re-state basic technical indicators and paraphrase financial doomsayers. Can't you guys go back to being funny? The A's are in the playoffs for christ's sake!
