1. Believes in individual rights (see Bill of Rights).
2. He knows the Federal direct income tax is wrong and while a Congressman he has never voted for a tax increase. And he wants to abolish the IRS.
4. Knows what the Federal Reserve really is, a banking cartel and it is not operating in the best interests of our country.
5. Supports national sovereignty without being isolationist (no GATT, CAFTA, NAFTA, WTO and ICC).
6. Wants a much smaller Federal Government (more "Republican" rather than "Federalist" in founding father lingo). Would shrink the role of the Executive Branch rather than continually trying to increase it.
7. Has a plan for dealing with the Social Security mess, would allow young people to opt out of it while continuing coverage for those beholden to it.
8. He understands and supports the sound money principles found in the Austrian School of Economics (see Mises and Rothbard).
9. Would pull troops out of Iraq because it is not a "defensive" war. He would have gone after Bin Laden directly rather than invade two countries unnecessarily. And he won't get us into a deadly war with Iran.
10. Wants government out of regulating the Internet. Thinks tapping your phone without a warrant is unconstitutional. And wants limited legal powers for the FDA and FCC.
